JICEF (Japan International Cultural Education Foundation) is a non-profit organization based in Tokyo.
We primarily target university students from diverse backgrounds and support them in contributing to society through cultural exchanges, volunteer activities, and community support projects.
Membership is open to university students, working adults, and anyone who shares our philosophy of educational support, cultural exchange, and social contribution in Japan and internationally.
No, there is no membership fee. Joining JICEF is completely free.
We organize cultural exchange events, volunteer activities (such as visiting orphanages and elderly care facilities), charity bazaars, workshops with schools, and community support projects both domestically and internationally.
Additionally, our work is designed to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting education, equality, social well-being and international cooperation.
Of course, you don't have to - you can join a program that suits your schedule and interests.
