On April 15, during the Kazakhstan Education Inspection Delegation's visit to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the group, headed by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, paid a courtesy call on Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Fukuda.

This educational study tour program in Japan and this courtesy visit were jointly planned and coordinated by JICEF and CMC , our partner organization.

During his visit, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Fukuda expressed his gratitude to the delegation for their interest in Japanese education, noting that exchanges between the two countries have deepened through events such as the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue and Summit held in Tokyo last December. He also explained how Japanese schools implement holistic education that emphasizes the harmony of "knowledge, virtue, and physical fitness" through "moral education" classes and "special activities" such as class meetings and cleaning activities, fostering cooperation, social skills, and a sense of ethics.

In response, Chairperson Trebekova acknowledged that fostering character development, morality, and patriotism among children and students is a crucial issue in Kazakhstan as well. She further expressed her hopes for cooperation with Japan in the field of education and stated that her understanding of Japanese school education had deepened considerably through her visits to actual schools.
